Craw Security Sponsored BSides Ahmedabad 2026 for Cyber Awareness Campaign

October 4, 2026

Some cybersecurity conferences are focused on attending presentations, while others encourage discussions that persist well beyond the conclusion of the talks.

For me, BSides Ahmedabad 2026 belonged to the second category.

Craw Security acted as an official sponsor for the conference that took place on September 26–27, 2026, at Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad, but our aim extended well beyond simply having our name associated with the event.

We traveled there with a greater aim: to promote cybersecurity awareness, connect with those influencing India’s security landscape, share insights, and emphasize why cybersecurity should be an everyday duty instead of a matter limited to security experts.

BSides Ahmedabad has emerged from this ethos of collaboration. Established in 2019, the event unites hackers, researchers, CISOs, business leaders, law enforcement officials, academics, industry professionals, and cybersecurity fans in a shared space for technical education and dialogue.

Cybersecurity Awareness Must Reach Everyone

A key message I firmly support is that cybersecurity awareness must not be limited to ethical hackers, SOC analysts, CISOs, or penetration testers.

Each person utilizing a smartphone, email service, banking app, social media platform, cloud service, or corporate system is already included in the cybersecurity ecosystem.

The assailant doesn’t always require a sophisticated zero-day exploit.

Occasionally, it only takes a single employee to click the incorrect link.

One weak password.

One compromised email.

One fraudulent phone call.

One malicious attachment.

Or one person who was never taught how to recognize a cyber threat.

This is one reason why events like BSides hold significance. They establish a space where awareness, technology, research, experience, and community can converge.

Craw Security’s Role at BSides Ahmedabad

As an official sponsor, our team dedicated a substantial portion of the conference to engaging directly with students, cybersecurity experts, researchers, business representatives, and other attendees.

We talked about the necessity of starting cybersecurity awareness prior to an incident happens, instead of waiting until an organization has experienced a breach.

At Craw Security, we have consistently focused on cybersecurity education, VAPT services, and assisting individuals in grasping cyber fraud and digital security threats.

BSides Ahmedabad provided us with yet another chance to bring that mission straight to the cybersecurity community.

Technology Should Solve Real Security Problems

A key aspect of our discussions was familiarizing participants with various platforms and security projects we have been developing.

We engaged with visitors about PhishNext, ShieldXDR, ThreatFusionAI, OSINT solutions, and CrackTheLab.

These items tackle various aspects of the cybersecurity issue.

PhishNext emphasizes phishing simulation and security awareness as the human element continues to be one of the most commonly targeted aspects of an organization.

ShieldXDR emphasizes security visibility, detection, and response as organizations must recognize suspicious behavior before it escalates into a more significant incident.

ThreatFusionAI embodies our efforts in threat intelligence and comprehending new cyber risks.

Our OSINT efforts investigate how publicly accessible information can aid in intelligence collection, inquiries, studies, and identifying threats.

CrackTheLab embodies a principle I consistently stress in my cybersecurity teaching: practical skills cannot be gained through theory alone.

People need laboratories.

They need challenges.

They need machines to investigate.

They need to break things ethically, understand why they broke, and then learn how to defend them.

Conversations With India’s Security Leadership

A highly valuable element of BSides Ahmedabad was the caliber of individuals assembled in one location.

The conference agenda featured leading cybersecurity and technology experts, with Maj Gen K. K. Chakrabarti, VSM, presenting in the inaugural session.

Our group also engaged in significant exchanges with Indian military leaders.

For an individual who has dedicated years to cybersecurity education and security technologies, these discussions hold significant importance.

Today, cybersecurity is more than just an IT issue.

It connects with national security, essential infrastructure, digital autonomy, intelligence, business resilience, law enforcement, defense, education, and economic stability.

The expanding digital landscape in India renders cooperation among these communities more essential.

Sharing Our Mission With Other Cybersecurity Organizations

I also appreciate the discussions that take place between booths at events such as BSides.

We engaged with other attendees and exhibitors to talk about what Craw Security aims to create.

Our philosophy remains:

Learn | Research | Innovate.

Continuously educate yourself as cyber threats are always evolving.

Investigate, as imitating the previous defense won’t prevent the next assault.

Innovate, since cybersecurity challenges demand solutions tailored to the realities organizations encounter today.

Whether via professional cybersecurity training, VAPT services, security solutions, threat intelligence, phishing awareness, OSINT research, or hands-on cyber labs, the fundamental aim remains constant—to enhance a more robust cybersecurity ecosystem.

And Yes, There Were Craw Goodies

Cybersecurity can be important without every interaction needing to seem official.

We shared Craw goodies and merchandise with attendees during the conference, and it was wonderful to witness people stop by the stall, engage with our team, talk about security, pose questions, and leave with something memorable from BSides Ahmedabad 2026.

For me, however, the most valuable takeaway was not merchandise or branding.

It was the conversations.

Students asking where cybersecurity is heading.

Researchers discussing new attack techniques.

Professionals discussing the problems they are facing inside organizations.

Security leaders exchanging ideas.

And people from very different backgrounds agreeing on one fundamental point:

Cybersecurity awareness has to become stronger.

Moving Forward

I think the future growth of cybersecurity in India will rely not just on improved tools but also on enhanced awareness, stronger practical abilities, deeper research efforts, and increased collaboration among academia, businesses, cybersecurity firms, researchers, governmental bodies, defense sectors, and students.

BSides Ahmedabad 2026 allowed us to participate in that dialogue.

Craw Security took pride in sponsoring the event, but even more so, we were proud to engage with a community dedicated to sharing insights and enhancing cybersecurity collectively.

And that mission will continue well beyond the conference floor.
